I am a proud South African based on the tiny island of Mauritius in the beautiful Indian Ocean. I have three decades of experience that has lead me through various disciplines within my field – from specialising in magazines and all manner of print to exploring UI/UX digital solutions and, for the past few years, navigating the magical world of AI. In a past life, I was Creative Director for Nerdware in SA, the Head of 2D for Singleframe in the UK, and the Art Director for FHM and Prestige magazines in SA too. I also ran the design studio for UASA – The Union for nearly a decade as a contractor while servicing many other clients at the same time. I have a wealth of experience in leading teams that create magic. Over the years, I have also written and edited copy for various magazines, websites and social media platforms – from motoring to tech, music and so much more. This spans the gamut from long-form printed articles to short-form web-based daily's to single-liners for social media platforms. ​ But it's not just me! In this modern and diverse world of design, I find collaboration key to getting projects finished efficiently and to the best possible quality.
